Issue #299 is here, and next month marks yet another milestone in our publication’s history. To celebrate, we’ve invited pupils from Sgoil a’ Bhac and Tong School to create artwork for our front cover—we can’t wait to see their designs. If you have any articles or ideas that could contribute to this special edition, please get in touch well before the deadline of March 14.

We’ve recently received a fantastic selection of old photographs—thank you to everyone who has sent them in. Rest assured, we’ll work through them as quickly as possible, although there is a bit of a backlog (a good problem to have!). To help us out, please ensure that any photos—old or new—come with names where known.

At the time of writing, we’re in the grip of high pressure—crisp, cold, and two weeks of glorious sunshine (let’s hope this isn’t our summer already!). It’s been a pleasure getting back into the garden (when the ground isn’t frozen solid) and enjoying long walks. With lambing season and the outdoor football season just around the corner, no doubt the rain and gales will return soon enough—but for now, let’s make the most of it.
